Quick Tips for GSCE & AS/A2 Projects

At the start of any project take these simple tips to get started:-

• Mood board- see How to create initial ideas at GCSE & AS/A2


• Direct observational drawings 6 to 8- ACTUALLY FROM THINGS IN FRONT OF YOU!! Use different media:- biro, chalk, charcvoal, etc.


• Photos, Internet or magazine images; stick them in & draw from them!! See: Year 10 GCSE Sculpture Photos Manipulated!!! or Year 7, 8 & 9 Art Photo's


• Gather artists, cultures or BOTH that may relate to you work. See: AS/A2 Research Aid- Finding Artists from the Tate
