How to...Create a Surreal Picture

Now we have studied 1 or 2 of the Surrealists (see: How to...research Surealism), why not now try to re-create a Surreal work?


First of all think of a house.

Now think of objects you could put in that house, what wouldn't belong? What would look strange if it were 10 times bigger than it should be? What could be melting that is usually hardened metal- think about Dali's melting watches?

What about the photogrpahy we have already manipulated? Could we now explore the possiblities there and add to these images, using CUTTING & PASTING?
