The Southfield school Flood

Southfields School recently went down under, under water that is (laughs). Due to the flood textiles block and art block had to and still is currently closed. This has caused a lot of students and teachers a lot of inconvenience. As Southfields has only one textiles, dance, drama and art block some students have missed out on vital lessons. This means that students and teachers have been under a lot of stress also because some students have lost some work and some students have lost all their work in the flood but luckily the school did not loose too much.
SB and JD are reporters and have been interviewing several students and teachers from Southfield school to give their view on the horrific accident. Miss Waller our textiles teacher was stuck for words, as we could see words could not describe the emotion and frustration that Miss Waller was feeling.
Mr Hamilton head of art stated, “it is a tragedy what has happened, but we are lucky that we did not loose too much work”.
One student who takes art who we will not name and shame quoted “its shocking what has happened to the school, the asbestos now this, what’s going to happen next? I’m worried and annoyed as well as most of my work is down there”. Mr Nevett sarcastically stated “its brilliant” he also said “ I could imagine it was a very emotional time for the students and teachers that worked down their and those who lost their work”. Southfields school is now going under a cleaning process to get the textiles block back the way it used to be. By S.B, J.D and S.M
